What are bonding eyelashes?
Share
DIY bonding lashes are an innovative type of lash extension designed for easy, at-home application, completely eliminating the need for a professional stylist. They are often called DIY (do-it-yourself) lashes because you can achieve a flawless look yourself, right from the comfort of your home. While the initial application may require a little practice, they quickly become a fast and intuitive part of your routine.
This method is an excellent alternative to classic lash extensions at a beauty salon. Bonding lashes are lightweight, flexible, and specifically designed for at-home self-application without the need for traditional, strong-hold lash glue. They are ideal for those who may be allergic to professional glues, as well as anyone who values saving time and money.
Thanks to the use of our special Bond Adhesive and Seal Fixer (found in the Lash Crash Bond & Seal duo), these lashes adhere directly to natural lashes and can last up to 5-7 days. Longevity depends on your application method, individual lash characteristics, and daily aftercare.
At Lash Crash, we offer pre-glued lash clusters with factory-applied glue. Simply apply the cluster and secure it with our Seal for wear that lasts up to 5 days. To extend the wear time to 7 days, apply a thin layer of Bond to the base of your natural lashes beforehand. After removal, simply cleanse the clusters (e.g., with lash shampoo). The Bond Adhesive will be required for any future re-use.
For beginners, pre-glued lashes are an excellent option - they allow you to bypass traditional messy glue and avoid the common errors that can occur during first applications.
How to Safely Remove DIY Bonding Lashes
Wearing bonding lashes is safe for your natural lashes, but improper removal can lead to damage. Never pull or rip them off, as this can cause your natural lashes to fall out.
The best solution is to use our Lash Crash Remover, an oil that gently dissolves the glue without causing irritation. Simply apply a generous amount to your lashes, wait at least 30 minutes, and allow the clusters to detach on their own. If you don't have our Remover, you can use another oil-based product, such as coconut oil. It is crucial to never force your lashes off.
A beautiful look has never been this simple, fast, and accessible ✨
